27-year-old National Player stays at least until 2017
National Player Jan Haller has signed his new contract with RSV Lahn-Dill and will stay in Middle Hesse at least until 2017. The 27-year-old, originally from Hanover, came to Wetzlar in 2011 from Bonn. Since then the wing player with the 2.0 classification has won eight national titles with his club, as well as the European Cup in 2012 and 2015.
At the same time he has won Silver at the European Championship in 2011 and Bronze in 2015, and in 2012 he took part in the Paralympics in London, and works in the Bundesliga-office for RSV Lahn-Dill. Alongside his job at the office he will start an advanced training course in December in Sport Management at the IST-Institute in Dusseldorf.
„I feel very comfortable in the region and with the club, so there is no reason form e to change my situation“, says Haller, adding: „Now we have taken on the role of the huntsmen, and there will be changes in our team for the upcoming season. I want to be part of that and make the best out of my athletic options.” The club is also very happy to still have Jan on board: “Jan is definitely an enrichment for our team as well as a colleague at the office. We’re looking forward to another season with him.” says RSV-Manager Andreas Joneck.
