Junior World Champion receives his license

17-year-old talent will be playing exclusively for RSV

The only 17 year old Nico Dreimueller is already a great talent, and will now move to RSV completely. During the last season he still had his primary license with second division team SGK Heidelberg, and only played in Wetzlar with a double license when the games did not clash with his committment with Heidelberg. The Frankfurt player will now be playing exclusively with RSV in the first division.

"Nico is a great talent, we didn’t only notice that last season. Now we’re looking forward to a future with him on board and want to do everything to support his development." says RSV Head-Coach Nicolai Zeltinger about the new arrival, who is still in school and preparing for his Abitur next year.

Together with his RSV-team-mates Thomas Boehme and Christopher Huber he became Junior World Champion 2013 in Adana, Turkey, when he was only 15 years old. The same year him and his team Heidelberg moved up in the league to first division, and last year he won the German Championship, the German Cup, and the European Championship with his new team RSV Lahn-Dill. "I’m very happy to be a full part of the team now, and I will do everything in my power to develop step by step. The conditions are perfect here in Wetzlar." says the 17-year-old about his committment for the season 2015/16.
