Duo Boehme/Huber will lead the youngsters-training on the 19th of September
The biggest wheelchair basketball try-out series in the German-speaking area will make a stopover in Wetzlar. Jutta Retzer from the DRS wheelchair basketball department will welcome kids and teenagers from the 8 to 18 on the 19th of September at August-Bebel-Sporthalle in Wetzlar.
The training will be lead by Junior-World Champions Christopher Huber and Thomas Boehme, who once took part in this tryout-series themselves. The morning will be dedicated to teaching and promoting of special wheelchair basketball skills and tactical basics, followed by competitive games in the afternoon.
You can register via email, giving your full name, your age, contact details and possibly details of a club membership, to peter.bangel@rsvlahndill.de until the 5th of September. Participation is free, and participants should be secure in a wheelchair and have experience in ball sports. Teams as well as single players can register.
