With big steps towards the future

Captain Michael Paye will also stay until at least until summer 2016

Five-fold Champions Cup winners RSV Lahn-Dill continue with their planning for the club’s future. Now captain Michael Paye has prolonged his contract early for another two years until summer 2016. The club will go ahead with their recipe for success of personnel continuity.
US-National Player Michael Paye has been wearing the RSV shirt since 2006, has just won the DRS-Cup title with his team, and is now preparing for the German Championship Playoff-Finals. With his signature he will be the longest-term imported player in the history of the most successful German club.
“Mikey has become the head of this team in an impressive manner and lead his team to the German double last year. We are proud to be having this impeccable athlete for another two years.” says RSV-coach Nicolai Zeltinger about the contract extension with the just turned 31-year-old point guard.

During his time with the Middle Hesse team Michael Paye and RSV have won 12 national and 3 international titles, and he wants to continue the impressive history: “I feel very happy at RSV, and the club gives the perfect preconditions for athletic success, which is what I’m planning on keeping going in the next two years. I cannot imagine a better preparation for for the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.”
