National-player prolongs RSV-contact until 2014
National-player Bjoern Lohmann will stick with RSV Lahn-Dill for longer. The 34-year-old, who joined the Wetzlar team having been playing in Cologne in 2012, has prolonged his contract with the ten-fold German Champions early, until 2015. This way the Middle Hesse club highlight their long-term personnel-planning.
The low-pointer from Schermbeck, Rhineland, will also be moving to a new place in Giessen in January, as he does not only feel comfortable in his team. “Bjoern is one of the best low-pointers in Europe, he is always modest and does his job for the team, which is a highly important role that often goes unnoticed.” describes coach Nicolai Zeltinger of Lohmann’s qualities.
Lohmann himself, after having won the German double, both Championship and cup, is also happy about his long-term engagement with Wetzlar Rollis and an option for another extension until 2016. “I have arrived here, and I want to achieve a lot more with RSV. Maybe we might be able to play a bigger role within Europe again this season.”
