Four RSV-players nominated
On the 30th of November it is time again for the vote for German athletes of the year at the gala at Sports and Olympic Museum Cologne. The German Disabled-Sports Organisation (DBS) has nominated the German women A- and U25-nationalteam as well as the Junior-world champions in the U22. So Thomas Boehme, Annabel Breuer, Christopher Huber and Selina Rausch are four players at RSV Lahn-Dill who are waiting excitedly for the result of the results of the vote.
The German women, one of the players being Annabel Breuer, won Silver at the Europeans 2013 in Frankfurt am Main. The only 21-year-old was also part of the successful U25-squad with same age Selina Rausch, and won bronze at the Europeans in Stoke Mandeville. Christopher Huber and Thomas Boehme got Gold at the Europeans in Adana, Turkey, with their U22-national team in September. The four RSV-athletes have to hold their ground competition from other sports, for example nominees like the sitting-volleyball national team, table-tennis, horse-riding and rowing.
The second round of voting between the three leading nominees will take place from the 18th of November.
