RSV-captain celebrates his wedding at Castle Romrod
RSV Lahn-Dill captain Michael Paye walked his long-term girlfriend Anna-Lena Kampmann down the aisle at Castle Romrod, and is now husband to the 29-year-old sister of former Junior national player Jan Kampmann.
Already on Thursday before the wedding the newlyweds celebrated their Polterabend at Golf Park Winnerod, a traditional German pre-wedding celebration. Among the guests were a lot of former sports-companions that Paye has met throughout his seven years with the ten-time German champions RSV Lahn-Dill. As well as Swiss Nicolas Hausammann even US-American Steve Serio came to celebrate the wedding of his former room-mates, and former RSV-captain Joey Johnson travelled with his whole family from Winnipeg, Canada, to be with their friends at their special day. The civil ceremony took place on Saturday with a lot of close friends and their respective families at Castle Romrod.
The 30-year-old from Detroit has been playing for RSV since 2006, and during this time he has won six German Championships and DRS Cups as well as two Champions Cups and one World Cup.
