Young Athlete-distinction on the 8th of May in Wetzlar
Junior European Champion Christopher Huber has been nominated by Sportkreis 13 Wetzlar for the election of Young Athlete 2013. By that the 17-year-old is rewarded for his athletic achievements during the past months. The lad from Rockenberg did not only get picked for RSV’s Bundesliga team but also won the European Championship 2012 with the U22-Nationalteam in Stoke Mandeville.
This March and April Christopher Huber won for the first time the DRS-Cup and the German Championship with RSV Lahn-Dill. His personal highlight this year still lies ahead though, when the 1,5-point-player will lead the German Juniors as Captain to the Worlds in Adana in September.
But at the moment the student suffers from travelling-stress. He only just returned from an international tournament in Dubai last Thursday and is now already packing again for the trip to Valladolid for the final round of the Champions Cup. Only two days after his return, on Wednesday the 8th of May, the Young Athlete distinction will take place.
