Former RBBL-Top Scorer Joe Bestwick joins RSV Lahn-Dill

British international comes from Wolverhampton to Wetzlar
Joe Bestwick is the first new signing for the 2012/2013 team of Champions League winner RSV Lahn-Dill. The 27-year old Center moves from Wolverhampton Rhinos to Wetzlar and brings also already experience in playing for a german club: Bestwick was part of the Cologne 99ers team and ended the 2008/2009 season by being top-scorer of the german league. .
After Cologne he played for the Australian club Brisbane Spinning Bullets where he scored an average of 31,7 points and was also the top-scoring player of the Australian league. 2011 he won the cup and the championship in Great-Britain before now moving again to Germany to join the German Champion RSV Lahn-Dill. He already knows the Wetzlar-audience from the Eurobasketball 2007 where he won the silver medal and he took the bronze at the Paralympic games 2008 at Beijing.
