RSV Lahn-Dill saves no. 1 spot for play-offs

Close 63:62-win at Zwickau
It was a very hard and close game that brought the RSV Lahn-Dill a 63:62 (13:10/26:32/47:49)-success at the RSC-Rollis Zwickau. It was their first home-game loss since December 2008 and gives the team from Wetzlar now in a possible final-round homecourt-advantage.
It was team-captain Joey Johnson who scored 22 seconds before the game ended the game-winning points. It was his answer for being sent on the floor by Zwickau´s defense for five times in the third quarter only.
The game had a Zwickau lead since the 11. minute and in the last quarter the 100 Wetzlar-fans among the 800 in the crowd saw first a 52:49 (33.) for Zwickau before it was Michael Paye with six important points who marked the 52:53 and later the 61:60 for Wetzlar. Under the other basket it was Filipski who held against for Zwickau constantly. Ten seconds to go it was the best defense in the league who grabbed the last board and with that the important win.
