Double Header at Munich ends with top-position and final-four-ticket

RSV stays on top of the league and moves to final-four in cup-challenge
Playing a team twice in two days is by far not normal, but for USC Munich and the RSV Lahn-Dill it was a busy weekend this time giving the team from Wetzlar the chance to have only one road trip this season down south. After beating the RSC in the regular season game on saturday 66:38 the defending cup-champion was also successful in moving forward to the DRS-cup final-four for the 13th time in club history by winning the quarterfinal on sunday 62:42.
RBBL: USC München – RSV Lahn-Dill  38:66 (9:11/13:34/25:52)
Captain Joey Johnson pushed his team in the first half to a half-time score of save 34:13 points, that gave the chance to take it a little more easy in the third and fourth quarter. Although Munich´s Benjamin Ryklin, who scored 15 points and grabbed 20 boards, had a terrific night, Coach Nicolai Zeltinger could stay calm at the side because having control over Munich´s Ben Döring was half of the prey already.
München: Benjamin Ryklin (15), Uli Schmölz (8), Sebastian Magenheim (6), Stefan Markus (6), Ben Döring (3), Florian Fischer, Sercan Ismail, Johanna Welin, Maximilian Grubmüller (n.e.).

DRS-Cup: USC München – RSV Lahn-Dill  42:62 (4:21/14:33/24:53)
The cup game on Sunday morning showed an awake RSV who came quick into the game and Zeltinger took the early opportunity to give playing-minutes to the whole team this time. "It is good to see that we have a lot of players who take their chance, when you offer it to them." Zeltinger summed up the 13th consecutive move into the final four tournament of the german cup-challenge.
