Bruce Enns brings extra qualities into Wetzlar´s Coaching-Team
The RSV Lahn-Dill was able to make another coup in signing a personalized improvement for the Coaching-staff: The 64-year-old Bruce Enns now upgrades the Team of Headcoach Nicolai Zeltinger and his Assistant Florian Leutheuser. The canadian Basketball-Coach worked in about a dozen of countries around the world, which equips him with an experience of 50 years in this sport, that now benefits RSV Lahn-Dill´s team next season.
„Bruce will be a new push for us in several ways“, Headcoach Zeltinger, who´s personal wish it was to work with Enns, raves about his new colleague. Both know each other for years now. „With this personell extension of our coaching-staff we wanted to put another part to the puzzle that is needed to bring back the german championship to Wetzlar“, Manager Andreas Joneck completes this subject.
Since he was thirteen years old Bruce Enns coaches Basketball-Teams in several ages and leagues. As a Coach he worked since then in China, France, Irleland, Japan, Jordania, his homecountry Canada, New-Zealand, the Phillipines, South-Corea an the USA. But he worked also in Austria, for the UBC Mattersburg 49ers and in Germany for the second-division team of BBC Bayreuth and later for the wheelchair-basketball-team of the RSV Bayreuth. Right now he is still part of the Canadian women team´s Coaching staff where he took part in winning the world-championship in 2006.
The four-time winner of the „Canadian University National Coach of the Year“ award will firstly be part of the Wetzlar-team until the end of October before the german-speaking coach will return in January to join the RSV again for the season-highlights in national championship, DRS-Cup and Championsleague.
