One minute into the third quarter the score was 33-31. This served as a wake up call to RSV and they soon regained a comfortable lead with 45-33. The fans were charged with energy after watching the oldest player on their team come to life. Dirk Kohler-Lenz was on fire and ended the game as highest scorer with 21 points for his team. The third quarter also introduced a new player on the court. 18 year old, Felix Schell, played for the first time in an RSV Lahn-Dill jersey. Felix was quoted saying that it was a great feeling to play on this team and the rest of the team really helped him. Naturally, it was a good experience for him as the 4.5 point rookie scored 2 points.
