Ticket sales for home game against Hamburg starts

Team and fans to be reunited at Buderus Arena starting Saturday

Good news for all fans of RSV Lahn-Dill, because next Saturday at the home game against BG Baskets Hamburg spectators may return to the Buderus Arena. The background is the decision of the heads of the state and senate chancelleries last week, as well as the adoption by the Hessian cabinet earlier this week, the state of Hesse had nevertheless recently the most stringent restrictions in this regard Germany-wide.

The exact individual calculation of the permissible number of spectators for the Buderus Arena is complex and includes an exemption limit of 250 visitors, a 30 percent utilization of the remaining capacity of the Buderus Arena as well as a division of the seats in a checkerboard pattern. For RSV Lahn-Dill, this means that 1,080 seats will be available on Saturday.

The coordination took place in close exchange between the Hessian State Chancellery in Wiesbaden and the local authorities in the Lahn-Dill district as well as with the Buderus Arena and HSG Wetzlar. The fact that the final number is slightly different for both clubs is due to association requirements as well as the different use of standing and wheelchair seats for the two duels against the northern lights SG Flensburg-Handewitt (HBL) on Thursday and BG Baskets Hamburg (RBBL) on Saturday.

Tickets for the RBBL match against the team of the hour from the Hanseatic city will be available as early as Tuesday, February 8. These can be purchased either online via Ticketmaster Germany or at the Buderus Arena box office.  On Saturday evening, the Buderus Arena – as well as the box office – will open only 60 minutes before the start of the game, i.e. at 6:30 pm. For admission, regardless of whether season ticket or one-way ticket holders, a free choice of seats in the respective booked category in the officially arranged checkerboard pattern applies. Furthermore, the well-known 2G-Plus regulation with a complete vaccination as well as a negative antigen rapid test (not older than 24 hours) or a negative PCR test (not older than 48 hours). As is now customary, the testing requirement does not apply to boostered or recovered spectators. In the Buderus Arena itself, masks are compulsory throughout, with the exception of during the consumption of food and drinks. All regulations apply only to guests over the age of 6. Children who are not older than five years are exempt from the restrictions.
