Home game against BBC Münsterland without spectators

All central Hessian districts have exceeded the incidence threshold to the hotspot for the first time

Even if the incidence values in Central Hesse are still below those in the national average, all Central Hessian districts have torn the incidence threshold of 350 to the so-called hotspot with today’s Monday. This means that stricter Covid19 rules automatically apply in the Lahn-Dill district, which now also have further effects on the home game of RSV Lahn-Dill next Sunday in the Buderus Arena. The game of the twelfth matchday in the RBBL against the BBC Münsterland will now take place without spectators.

“Of course, this is exactly the development that none of us wanted, but we have to take this into account, as painful as it is,” says RSV Managing Director Andreas Joneck, who adds: “This decision was not easy for us, but at the moment we see no other chance and hope that the situation will return to normal as quickly as possible thanks to the Omikron variant.”

Of course, RSV’s own livestream offer remains unaffected by the new situation. Under www.rsvlahndill.de, there is still the free possibility to follow the home games of Thomas Böhme & Co. live. The broadcast moderated by Marina Failing, Kai Gerlach and Dirk Schäfer by RSV partner P3D starts 30 minutes before the high ball, on Sunday at 2:30 pm.

All fans who have already purchased a ticket for the match against BBC Münsterland online via Ticketmaster will automatically receive a refund of the purchase price via the same billing method. RSV Lahn-Dill offers all season ticket holders either a second free ticket for the next home game, where spectators are admitted again, or the extension of the validity of the season ticket up to and including the first possible playoff game, for which the current main round season ticket is no longer valid.
