Due to the Coronavirus Protection Ordinance, the 3G area in the Rittal Arena must be abolished
On Thursday, RSV Lahn-Dill had to react at short notice to the changed legal conditions that the Hessian state government put into effect on the 11 November. Based on the Ordinance on the Protection of the Population against Infections with the Coronavirus SARS-CoV 2 (Coronavirus Protection Ordinance), the access requirements for the 3G range at events have been changed since 11 November. The RSV Lahn-Dill had to react to this at short notice and so in the last home game of the year on Saturday night against the Rhine River Rhinos the previously maintained 3G range had to be omitted.
For this purpose, the so-called 2G area for recovered and vaccinated viewers is now also available to children and adolescents up to the age of 18 (previously only allowed up to the age of 12) and also to people who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons and have a cost-intensive PCR test instead of a rapid antigen test. With this decision, the RSV Lahn-Dill is forced to change its hygiene concept. Therefore, the following 2G access rules must currently apply:
Children and adolescents who have been re-vaccinated may now accompany their parents to the 2G range up to the age of 18 if they have been vaccinated or recovered. Previously, the age limit was 12 years. This requires a rapid antigen test (not older than 24 hours) or a current school test.
People who are medically unable to get vaccinated will also be able to access the 2G range if they can prove this by a medical certificate. In addition, a rapid antigen test (not older than 24 hours) is required.
Due to the new ordinance of the State of Hessen and the first escalation stage for protection against the Covid19 pandemic that came into force, we are now forced to implement the so-called 2G rule. This means that home matches can currently only be attended by spectators if they are fully vaccinated, have a proven recovery, or belong to one of the two groups of children and adolescents mentioned above or persons who are not allowed to be vaccinated for medical reasons.
According to the approved hygiene concept, a total of 2,250 seats are currently available in only 2G areas. Approved mouth and nose protection must be worn when entering the Rittal Arena all the way to the seat, but not on the seats during the game. In these 2G areas for recovered and vaccinated spectators, the minimum distance can be omitted, the catering areas are open regularly, as are the sanitary facilities and the fan shop.
A spectator-friendly solution is also available for children. Children up to the age of 18 can accompany their parents in the 2G area without restriction, provided that the accompanying persons themselves meet the 2G criteria. Children up to the age of 6 do not need a negative Covid19 test, children from the age of 6 need a negative Covid19 test (also school test possible).
Persons who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons may also be granted access to the home games on presentation of a negative Artigen rapid test (up to 24 hours of age) and medical evidence that vaccination is not possible.
All other groups of people are currently unable to attend our home games. For this we continue to offer our free live stream of all home games on www. rsvlahndill. de.
