Anna-Maria Müller and Johannes Hengst come from Frankfurt
A bit over a week after RSV II securing a place in the second division for the season 2016/2017, the team can announce additions for the squad. Anna-Maria Müller and Johannes Hengst, both with experience in the first division, will join Daniel Stange’s team.
Both players have played with Mainhatten Skywheelers before coming to Wetzlar, but originally they are from Ostbevern close to Münster where they started playing with UBC. After that Anna-Maria went to RSG Koblenz, whilst Johannes started playing for RSC Osnabrück until they were united again at Mainhatten Skywheelers in 2010.
Daniel Stange is thrilled to have procured these two, who will now be playing with former first team players Felix Schell and Marco Zwerger. This gives the team the opportunity to start afresh with new goals and young and fresh players.
The newbies are also very happy to join: “After a long and successful, and most of all great time with the Skywheelers it is now time for a change. We’re very much looking forward to the new season.” says Anna-Maria Müller. Her old and new team mate Johannes Hengst adds: “RSV’s second team is young and ambitious, there is a lot we can accomplish this season.”
