Jan Haller joins his team-mates

National-player prolonges early until 2016

National Player Jan Haller has extended his contract with DRS Cup winners RSV Lahn-Dill until summer 2016. The 26-year-old came to the club in 2011 from Bonn, and has just celebrated his fourth DRS Cup win with his team.

Jan has been working in the management office since 2012, doing advanced training in Sports Management. The player, originally from Hannover, is another piece of the puzzle for the Wetzlar Club. Same as his colleagues Michael Paye, Steve Serio, Thomas Boehme and Joe Bestwick, he feels right at home with RSV Lahn-Dill.

“Jan is a team-player, and extraordinarily important for our team.” Nicolai Zeltinger is very happy about the contract extension for his number six. Now Zeltinger and assistant coach Ralf Neumann can plan in even more detail for what lies ahead. Personnel continuity is a very important factor for the eleven-fold German Champion, and manager Andreas Joneck emphasizes: “Jan, as well as his team mates before, is setting a mark here. His training on court as well as in the management office gives us and him the full package.”

As of Saturday Jan Haller &Co. will be fighting for the German title in the Playoff-finals.
