HBRS nominate Thomas Boehme and RSV Lahn-Dill

The Hesse Disability and Rehabilitation Organisation (HBRS) will let the public vote the athletes of the year for the first time. One of this year’s nominees in the category Individual Athlete is Thomas Boehme and nominated as Team of the Year are RSV Lahn-Dill. Online-voting will be taking place until the 28th of August at www.hbrs.de.
President of HBRS Gerhard Knapp says: „It is our aim for the interested public to get involved and have a say in the voting of the Athletes and Team of the Year. This way the athletes nominated by HBRS will feel the support even more and be put more into the focus, which they definitely deserve.”
Thomas Boehme will be competing, amongst others, against swimmer Daniel Simon from Marburg. Part of the competition for German Champions RSV Lahn-Dill will be Mainhatten Skywheelers.
After counting the votes, the first three of each category will be invited to an award celebration held at Restaurant “Schubeck’s Check Inn” by celebrity chef Alfons Schubeck on the 14th of November.

VSG Frankfurt (Goalball), BSG Hausen (Skittles), SG Hausen/Kassel (Sitting Volleyball), RSV Lahn-Dill (Wheelchair Basketball), Mainhattan Skywheelers (Wheelchair Basketball), SSG Blista Marburg (Blind Football), VSG Schlüchtern (Road Bowling).
Young Athlete of the Year:
Emrah Gümüsketin (Football), Tabea Müller (Judo), Schugga Nashwan (Judo), Marlene Reeg (Table tennis), Yannik Rüddenklau (Table tennis), Oona Weber (Swimming).
