RSV Lahn-Dill-Centre will be playing in Frankfurt
Now all RSV-fans can now not only look forward to seeing their seven national player at Eurobasketball 2013, which takes place from the 28th of June until the 7th of July, but also Joe Bestwick. The 28-year-old Briton has been nominated for the continental games by his national-coach Haj Bhania.
After not having played internationally the centre will now finally become active again for his country. “It was a very tough time having to miss out on the London Paralympics. The happier I am now to be playing at the Europeans in Frankfurt, and the duels with my lads from RSV.” says Bestwick, looking forward already to the opening game on the 28th at 20:15 against Germany.
“We are super happy for Joe, also because this is confirmation for us of our work with him over the past season and the training we could provide for him.” adds RSV-assistant-coach Ralf Neumann.
