About 120 guests took up the invitation
Around 120 guests from areas such as Politics, Economy and Sports gathered Tuesday night in reply to the club’s invitation to the first New Year’s reception at their Gold Partner Neils & Kraft’s spruce sales centre in Giessen.
Team and management, sponsors and partners, friends and employees were hosted by a company who can look back on a long history at the site since it has first been founded 1927. Today the company has branches in Wetzlar and Hungen and despite sales in Mercedes-Benz and Smart they are also authorised partners of Iveco-Magirus AG and Palfinger Hydraulics.
Not only the current cars were impressive but also a 43-year-old Mercedes 280 SE owned by the manager of RSV-Partner Gross GmbH, Michael Gross, that already had been adapted with hand-gas in the Seventies.
Head-Coach Nicolai Zeltinger held a presentation about the role of 1-pointers, highlighting their crucial work and their significance in a Wheelchair Basketball game, and therefore supplied all guests with plenty of topics for conversations. Another high of the evening were the Golden Spirit Cheerleaders who accompanied a free-throw-competition organised by Assistant-Coach Ralf Neumann. The winners were Anne Dore Kuhlmann from Goldpartners OHROPAX before Ortwin Schneider from Schneider & Kissel.
