First piece of the puzzle for 2012/2013
US-Pointguard Michael Paye renewed his contract with RSV Lahn-Dill until summer 2013. The 28-year-old leading scorer will then play his seventh season for the German Champion.
Signed as replacement for Patrick Anderson Michael Paye became one of the most important players in the RSV-team during the last six years. He not only gained a leading-spot in the team but also played himself into the heart of the fans already. „Mikey is one of the best pointguards on the planet. He pushes his team and lives his basketball-dream on the court every game“, RSV-Coach Nicolai Zeltinger praises his player and Manager Andreas Joneck continues: „We are very happy that we got this important decision at this early time of the year. That shows again our constant personnel policy.“.
Michael Paye came 2006 as the player of the year in college whellchair-basketball from the University of Texas to RSV Lahn-Dill and is in the moment the offensive most successful player of the team scoring 20,3 points per game. His great goal this year, besides winning the national and european trophies with his club, is to be part of the US-Paralympics team for London.
