Our thoughts are with our friends in Japan

On October 17th 2010 RSV Lahn-Dill won the World Champions League at Kitakyushu, Japan. Celebrating the biggest success in Wetzlar´s club-history RSV competed between other teams also with the japanese champion Myagi Max from the City of Sendai. Now Japan suffers from a terrible Natural Disaster and the news and pictures in the news affected us deeply.

Sport fades into the background facing the biggest earthquake in japanese history, the followed Tsunami and the imminent nuclear catastrophy and our thoughts are with our friends in Japan during these hours.

We tried to get in contact with our friends at Kitakyushu and received an email from Takako Nakayama at the local organisation-office for the World Champions League that assured us that nobody was harmed at Kitakyushu so far. There were no informations yet from the team from Myagi, so we still hope instandly that also the team-members from Myagi Max are doing well.

Our deepest feelings of compassion are with the people of Myagi and of whole Japan.
